ChiWIP will be hosting two workshops, a resume review workshop and an interview tips/mock interview workshop, for Blessons for Women members. Blessons provides free mentorship, educational workshops and wellness clinics for all women, in addition to scholarships to disadvantaged, low-income women who are 25 years or older and have had their higher education interrupted due to challenging life lessons such as cancer, mental health conditions, physical or emotional abuse, sex trafficking or who are first generation female immigrants.
Each workshop will include a 35-40 minute presentation and 15-20 minute breakout session. The first workshop presented by ChiWIP member Helen Ji will address resumes starting at 10 am. The second workshop presented by career adviser Kathy Morris will address interview tips starting at 11 am.
We are looking for volunteers interested in assisting with brief resume review and mock interview questions during the breakout sessions. If you are interested in volunteering, presenting, or sponsoring this event please email Amy Adler at atadler@davismcgrath.com.
