February 17, 2021 at 6 PM - Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah
Christine Filarski will moderate the session for the book Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. Firefly Lane is a story of friendship between two women, the joys and sorrows of their lives, and how friendships have the power to raise us up, or to destroy us. Netflix is making a series out of this book which is set to premiere on February 3, 2021.
We are leaving the titles open for April, June, August, and November so please e-mail the ChiWIP Social Committee with any book suggestions!
We would also like to take the opportunity to encourage everyone to support a local bookstore online by purchasing the book via the link below: bookshop.org/books?keywords=small+great+things. If you are looking for a local book store to support in person I encourage you to purchase the book from Chicago's only black-woman owned Bookstore & Gallery, Semicolon Bookstore at 515 N Halsted St.
REGISTER HERE: (Video/dial-in information will be circulated to attendees prior to the session.)
